Yeah. It's called "google-bombing" and people do it to get links to their website on your page (if you publish them) which will get their searches higher on google's list. So if you search "vacations to aruba" and their link has that anchor text on your page... their website will be more likely to show up on google's first page of search returns.
Hopefully that makes sense... lol
